One week, six moments

Friday, 8:40 pm · at the table

Log the meal while it’s still in front of you

Tap New visit and the restaurant you’re sitting in is already chosen, from the places you’ve been and from Apple Maps nearby. Add photos as the courses arrive and name the dishes later. Rate what stood out, and note the Michelin distinction and what it cost per person.

Forgot to log it? Start the visit from your photos afterwards. The date and the restaurant come from when and where they were taken.

A visit: photos, dishes, drinks, and your notes.

Saturday morning · telling a friend

Share one meal with a link

Share a visit or a tasting as a read-only web page. Your friend doesn’t need the app or an account. The page shows the photos, the dishes, and your notes, in Chinese or English to match their browser. It never shows prices, what you paid per person, or the address.

Turn a link off in the Me tab whenever you like, and the page stops working.

The shared page, opened in Safari.

Saturday afternoon · a case arrives

Scan the label, check it, add it to the cellar

Point the camera at a label. The app reads the producer, name, vintage, and region into a form and marks each one AI until you’ve checked it. Add how many bottles, where they’re kept, and what you paid. Nothing is saved until you tap Add.

Already have this wine? The app suggests the match first, so the same wine isn’t added twice.

Add to cellar, filled in from a label scan.

Sunday evening · choosing a bottle

See what’s open and what’s waiting

The Cellar tab starts with the open bottles and how many days each has been open, so nothing fades in the fridge. Below are the sealed bottles, by wine, with where they’re kept. A bottle you’ve poured with a Coravin shows the days since its first pour. Wines you’ve finished, or only had out, stay listed with your rating.

Filter by red, white, sparkling, sake, or spirits, and by where the bottles are kept.

Sunday evening · opening it

Open a bottle and write down how it was

Each wine keeps its bottles, every tasting across the years, and a short typical profile written by AI and marked as such. Open and log marks the bottle open and starts your tasting note in one step, with your stars, your words, and a few flavor tags.

You can undo any change of status, whether a bottle is sealed, open, finished, or given away.

Tuesday lunch · in a wine shop

Have I had this? Did I like it? Do I own it?

Scan the label on the shelf. In a few seconds you see each time you’ve had it and how you rated it, how many bottles are at home, and what you paid last time. Then add it to the cellar or log a glass, with the details already filled in.

No critic scores and no shop prices. Every number on the screen is your own.

Label lookup: what you already know about this wine.

In private beta

The screens are design mockups of the app’s current look. Restaurants, wines, and notes are invented, and the photos are drawn stand-ins. Fork & Cork is in development and shared through TestFlight, by invite only for now.
